Authorities were searching Monday afternoon for a man who fell from a boat on Falls Lake.

At least 18 people were arrested last weekend on Falls Lake after complaints about large gatherings and drug and alcohol violations.

A spokesperson from the Department of Public Safety said numerous complaints from the public prompted an investigation by the N.C. Wildlife Resource Commission, N.C. State Parks and the Alcohol Law Enforcement Division.

Officials said the 18 arrests involved 25 misdemeanor charges, three felony charges and the seizure of cocaine, marijuana, liquor and a firearm.

Some of the charges included possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, identity theft, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of spirituous liquor, possess for sale/sell alcoholic beverages without the applicable ABC permits and numerous boating violations, officials said.

Falls Lake borders Wake, Durham and Granville counties.
