5 ways to save money on Thanksgiving dinner

RALEIGH, N.C. — If you don't want to cook that turkey yourself, you have plenty of options for dining out on Thanksgiving.

Note: Make sure to contact the restaurants if planning on getting meals catered or if you plan to dine-in as many of these restaurants require reservations in advance.

Raleigh

41Hundred - 41Hundred is a great place to go for your Thanksgiving dinner if you are looking for a casual yet sophisticated dinner. It costs $55 per person for adults and $18 for children ages 12 years and younger.
Midtown Grille - Allow Midtown Grille to serve you and your family with their special menu just for Thanksgiving from 12p.m. to 5p.m. This Thanksgiving feast is $45 per person and $20 for children 12 and under. The meal will start with soup or salad, then go on to a full Thanksgiving dinner.
The Capital Grille - Offering a Thanksgiving dinner including turkey, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cranberry chutney, desserts, and more, enjoy this casual bar style restaurant for Thanksgiving for the whole family.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse - Providing a three-course Thanksgiving meal including your choice of Herb-Roasted Turkey or Petite Filet Mignon, Fleming’s will satisfy your Thanksgiving dinner cravings.
Hibernian Pub & Restaurant - Enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner by choosing between turkey or ham, or a combination dinner at Hibernian starting at 11a.m. and running until 2 a.m.
Irregardless Café - This Thanksgiving meal serves 6-8 people at $145, serving roast turkey and gravy, orange cranberry relish, pineapple and sage stuffing, green beans, sweet and white mashed potatoes, rolls, and your choice of apple or pumpkin pie.
Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar - If you’re wanting something other than the a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for Thanksgiving, Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar has serves Italian and American style meals while also including Thanksgiving specials.
Margaux’s Restaurant - Thanksgiving day luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at $45 per person and kids plates at $18.95. Their four-course meal will include an appetizer, turkey, grilled filet of beef, Nantucket crusted grouper, Cheshire pork tenderloin, basket of tofu scramble, or pecan dusted Atlantic salmon with all including sides, and then dessert.
The Pit (Raleigh and Durham locations) - Serving Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., this meal will start out with appetizers including fried pimento cheese bites and spinach salad. Entrees include pit-cooked sliced turkey, green bean casserole, candied yams, pumpkin pie and more. This Thanksgiving feast is $29.99 per person and $14.99 for kids 12 and under. Take-out orders are being taken until Nov. 23.
Plates - Providing a Thanksgiving Day meal including starters, entrees and fixings, and your choice of figgy pudding, local apple cobbler, pecan pie, or housemade sorbet flight costing $45 per person.
Braise Contemporary Southern at Raleigh Marriott Crabtree - This restaurant will be serving a buffet with roasted pork, turkey, prime rib, salmon and chicken from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The buffet is $54.95 per adult and $19.95 for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
Macaroni Grill - Serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal, enjoy a three-course menu or pre-order Thanksgiving dinner for delivery or pickup. Orders can be placed from Nov. 5 until Nov. 24 and for pick-up on Nov. 27 or 28. Thanksgiving meals are $24.99 per person and $12 for kids.
Royal India - Offering a large selection of Indian buffet dishes, such as tandoori turkey, traditional Indian desserts, and more. This meal is $30 or under with buffets costing $12.95 – $19.95 per person.
Seasons 52 This Thanksgiving dinner costs $32.95 for adults and $14.00 for kids. It will include roasted turkey, savory pan gravy, Yukon mashed potatoes, herb stuffing, green beans, mashed butternut squash, house-made cranberry relish, and pumpkin pie mini indulgence.

Durham

G.58 Modern Chinese Cuisine ​​​​​​ - G.58 Modern Chinese Cuisine in Morrisville will be open for service from noon - 7 pm on Thanksgiving Day. G.58 will be serving its regular menu of modern Chinese dishes with special dishes to be announced. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the G.58 Cuisine website
The Durham - Join The Durham for a family-style Thanksgiving dinner from 1-4:30p.m. Appetizers (including oysters and wild shrimp cocktail) will start off the meal followed by roast turkey, lots of seasonal vegetables, and shared desserts for the table. The price is $85 per person and $35 for children under 12.
Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club - Providing seatings at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., gather around the table for a day of family, friends and feasting, with a special Thanksgiving Day buffet. This spread features an assortment of chilled seafood and salads, hot entrees and side dishes, and a chef's carving station of roast turkey and roasted angus beef, ending on seasonal favorites from the pastry team. The buffet is $82 per person, $25 per child between the ages of 6 and 12, and free for children under the age of 5.
MarketPlace at JB Duke Hotel - From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the culinary team is putting together a special Thanksgiving Day buffet spread. Gather your family for a mouthwatering array of favorites, including a carving station of roast turkey, and slow roasted strip loin of beef, numerous seasonal dishes and desserts. Brunch is $55 per person, $18 per child between the ages of 6 and 12, and free for children under the age of 5.
Carrboro
Acme Food and Beverage - Serving a traditional three course Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 8 p.m. start by choosing either soup or salad, then choose between turkey, salmon, beef, and vegetable risotto, and end on a classic pumpkin pie, chocolate and bourbon pecan pie, autumn apple cobbler, or dark chocolate terrine. $45 per person.
Tandem - Enjoy this Thanksgiving dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner includes a selection of brunch items, salads, appetizers, dips, traditional turkey and trimmings, seasonal sides, desserts, and more. $45 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under, and free for children 3 and under.
Cary
Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen - Three course prix fixe menu at $29 includes butternut squash soup, smoked turkey breast, sides, and pumpkin pie, as well as serving their regular menu from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Kababish Café - This restaurant will serve its annual Thanksgiving buffet with its famous Masala turkey from noon to 6:30 p.m. ​​​​​​​
Wake Forest
Real McCoy's - This restaurant will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring traditional turkey day favorites. The buffet is $20 for adults and $12 for children.
